and so while packing and preparing for sep, i started on a little spring cleaning and tidying up of my stuff.
its not THAT messy really.
at least, sec sch stuff are all together, jc stuff, uni stuff, important/memorable stuff and gifts all together.
threw up quite some stuff i used to think was memorable. hahaha.
i guess when you grow older, you realise that some stuff if you are gonna keep them and not even display them or use them, they just ought to be thrown away or donated to charity.
its quite funny how you tend to keep more old stuff and throw away the recent stuff too.
maybe its like antique kind of logic.
hahaha although its kind of weird to say you treasure a card received in 2004 more than a card received in 2009 (which you MAY throw away) LOL.
oh, also found some gifts i cant really remember when i received and from who (PLEASE PARDON ME FOR MY LOUSY MEMORY but maybe you can label the gifts or attach with a letter uhhh).
and there are those really sweet ones with memorable value like POP, grad, birthday, committee, or those from juniors/seniors/squad/classmates or best friend, good friends, favourite people and stuff (:
you may be surprised you know.
some things that are given to me years ago, i still have them.
eg. the bear in bottle from sec1 clique.
eg. the primary school autograph books and some really cute gifts.
there are also the letters/notes and also some sch stuff which i loved (like personality/friendship/bonding tests or songs, activities and stuff)
even my favourite JAY posters, pictures and articles hehe.
finding them, reading them, thinking about them.
it kinda refreshes your memories and well...
its just so sweet (:
you know its even sweeter to find so many letters, cards and gifts which were mailed to me (:
urghh.
gives me a sudden urge to write to these old friends again, ask them out or something.
ohno, am i growing old or what.
reminiscing about my teenage years which ahem, is still ongoing. hahahaha.
but again, reflecting on myself, im so glad i was so friendly and sociable in the past HAHAHAHA.
i mean, otherwise, how will i have all these cute and funny pictures and letter exchanges to look at now.
