HAHA okok, story got optional ending 2 and 3.
VERSION TWO.
The student was given another chance to go into the field again.
This time, he walked and walked and walked until he saw a big corn that caught his eye.
It wasn't as big as the one he saw, though not as small as the one he brought back the previous time too. BUT he was sastified with it.
So he pluck it, hugged it and walked through the field.
Along the way, true enough, there were bigger ones that he encountered but he did not regret his choice as he knew that the one he was holding was the one he is proud of.
He returned to the classroom beaming and showed the teacher his corn.
Once again, he told the whole class his story and after that, his teacher told the class the following:
Remember now kids, in life you don't get second chance everytime.
VERSION THREE.
5 years down the road, the teacher met the same student again and asked him: 'how are you doing?'
Student: 'Very good! I'm married with 3 kids now. This is my wife and guess what? She is from the same class that you taught me.'
