okay aft MIA-ing for so long.
im finally gonna update my blog again.
so, spent the last thurs-sun of term1 at vt preparing for huangcheng.
anw wanna re-emphasize that publicity is not slacking at vt can :/
its like we stand n stone for all 3 shows.
tts like damn torturous esp when u r in court shoes okay.
then we also had to usher the vips for 2 days which is qt sian.
oh. but doing the vt board was fun when its a whole big grp of us la (:
hahas n wat can be more interesting than singing huang cheng de ge 3 times n looking excited n happy each time :P
but then im damn sad cos i lost one of my fav dolphin earrings which my sis gave my as bday gift la.
poor earring.
lost at some corner in the big vt :/
sucks lah.
haiz. back to huangcheng. so, the publicity room is like all the way up at the 4th storey...
n evryday we climb up n down dunoe how many thousand times until our legs wanna break.
the only gd thng i can think abt having such an isolated room is we dun get visitors often so.. hahahas.
more private time in the room qiao-ing. LOL.
althou the vt days r tiring...
like report so early evry morn, go home pretty late, i think its one of my most enjoyable times in publicity la.
maybe its really then tt i got to know evry1 better n had fun wit them (:
hmm sudd rem, it wasnt exactly fun cos of some black sheep who used vulgarity on me :/
finally on huang cheng show itself.
hmmm. first show was pretty successful for a start i think.
dun think got major screwups tt i know of. ohh.
but e backstage were like scolded for making alot of noises bhind during e show.
k lah. guess evry1 excited bah.
ohh. before the show had an opening ceremony too.
its qt funny la. cos liangwenfu (vip) went up to clarify which batch he belonged to. lol.
2nd show. matinee.
hmm. i din catch the show lah.
was out at the foyer becoming parttime piao wu n mario-ing.
but heard some peeps forgot their lines.
got xiao chang somemore... yahh.
heard the response was qt diff from the prev one too.
maybe cos tis diff audience grp.
so sense of humour n understanding is diff i guess? yah.
3rd show. final.
major screwup right at the start cos of technical error then the 10min video couldnt be played.
qt disappointing lah.
other than tt was ok i guess.
ohh n i dropped sth backstage during the show while coming down from vip room la :/
so wells. aft that went back sch in bus lah.
act din intend to stay overnight in sch de.
like totally din bring anythng la.
but in e end it was pretty late when we ended evrythng n like the mood is so not for going home... hahhaas. i just ended up staying n slping in my contacts :/
had macs meal for supper.
then some random crapping session by the j2s until evry1 just dao n play bridge or simply slp in LT3.
ofcos lah. no one can be as pro as waifung when u talk abt slping...
hahhas. slping on e stage wit evry1 staring down at u. LOL.
ard 6. evry1 gathered at central plaza n sang a final huang cheng de ge 07.
supp to be pretty touching but then guess im too tired to feel anythng.
took bus home ard 7+ n reached home 8+ to slp.
if u think tts the end of my tight schedule, ure so WRONG.
slp until 1 to pack bag for oac. then went for piano at 3-4.
then went sch for oac yltc which lasted from mon to fri, 5d4n :/
hahahas. the huang cheng peeps (yufeng, huiling, liangxun etc...) in oac.
i think we rocks lah. esp so for those who din leave halfway for anythng (:
its really a mental endurance camp in which u psycho urself evryday that YOU CAN DO IT n u can LAST TIL THE END.
ok just gonna summarise the camp.
we din bathe for 5 days (out of which 2 days we went kayaking in e kallang waters n 2 in ubin :/)
we din brush our teeth for 5 days, including those who had braces (so u know how disgusting it was to have food particles stuck ard the brackets).
we wore each other's undergarments (within our own gender, but u noe, diff ppl had diff sizes).
we slp for less than 6 hrs each day (assembled at 6 each morn.. activities all e way til abt 12 each day)
okays. other than those stuff. i think it was qt an alright camp.
as in, its qt similar to nco camp lah.
thou nco camp is much much much much mroe hygenic.
like to a very large extent, i think the basic human hygiene is compromised cos of the traditions :/
the only thng tt yltc is better than nco camp is maybe the slping part.
cos yltc dun wake u up in e middle of e night for bunk check, changing parade or fire drill those kinda stuff.
its really great lah. cos u r really too tired to get up n do anythng.
all u need is REST.
ohh then u brisk walk from place to place too. no nd run like hell.
dun have corporal punishment thou u have sth called counts which works in the same way... n can sum up to thousands.
ohh n sentry is not night patrol... but simply sitting down n talking to ur GI/rovers/ex-es.
so yah. this camp is really alot on teamwork lah.
like evry1 really has to try to put in their best or appear to do so...
n not slack ard cos u wil just sabo e rest in e end.
then like cleaning the floor wit ur shirts, rolling ard the classroom...
its sounds qt bad at first but when u act do it n evry1 is doing it wit u..
its act qt fun lah. LOL.
so tts like one of e most memorable stuff i wil rem in yltc.
n stil got other stuff like powder bathing for 5 days.
eating xiao mi mi for 5 days.
zi-highing wit APACHES.
looking at liangxun high abt the big MONSTER.
laughing at shibao huiling mingyeung n their scandals.
washing clothes wit litang etc.
sounding like jiamin by camp day 4? yah.
n theres also angeline who has alot of qn to ask each time.. lol.
k lah. there r oso other stuff like, laughin at edison for being e last in e sea ex each time.
n APACHES gg to the haunted hse in ubin.
so yupp.
we played a short bidding game which was like :/
hahas. apaches won an apple lah. LOL.
then evry1 gathered at high sch section eat lunch n oso, try to find our own stuff.
toiletries, towels, undergarments, shirts, shorts EVRYTHNG.
its like damn funny lah.
cos ppl wil be walking ard n asking, eh did u see my shirt labelled XX.
n some funny ppl wil be like, i cant find my BRA/UNDERWEAR.
hahahas.
i managed to find evrythng except for 1 M size shorts n 1 track pants.
its really weird lah. cos both i oso labelled 'ML' at the tag inside yah.
supp to go for piano lesson at 2 plus one.. bt in e end drag until 3+ so i just cabbed home wit edison yeah.
n if u think tt is e end of my march activities, u r rong agn.
saturday had stjohn zone island treasure hunt. one full day.
was supp to be group instructor but cos i woke late n went late, ended up as gamemaster at bedok reservoir in e end.
k lah. qt fun cos had chubs n ltr wenxiong to pei me there.
n u noe lah.. both of them damn humourous one.
esp wenxiong, who created an obstacle path for the cadets outta boredom lol.
hahas sat in an ambulance the first time in my life.
cos it was like a mean of transport for e gamemasters? LOL.
then sunday had otc.
act was pretty worried tt it wil be tough cos i missed the first one last wk cos of huang chang. but in e end i think it was stil managable la.
like wat can be worse than going thru yltc rite? lol.
so im in tango, under alpha.
my groupmates r a funloving group.. very helpful too.
think e worse part of otc is e lectures lah.
totally can slp one lors.. hahhas. hope i can survive (:
so yupp.
it really makes no diff whether theres march hols or not for me cos i have been so busy.
no time to go out too :/
anw back to sch, 07s67 now has 26 peeps.
1 out :( 2 in.

being sick really sucks lah.
